The only personal data we collect is the email address you voluntarily provide when subscribing to the newsletter. Downloading the book does not require registration or providing any data.

Your email is used exclusively to send you news about the book, cybersecurity content, events, and future releases. We do not sell, rent, or share your email with third parties for commercial purposes.

Processing is based on your consent, which you give when subscribing and can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every email or by writing to us directly.

5. Service providers

Emails are managed through Mailchimp, which acts as a data processor and stores the data in accordance with its own privacy policy. Mailchimp is a service operated by Intuit Inc., based in the United States, so your email address is transferred to and stored on servers in that country; this international transfer is covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses incorporated into Mailchimp’s data processing terms.

6. Retention

We keep your email for as long as your subscription remains active. If you unsubscribe, it is removed from our mailing lists.

7. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, and objection at any time by writing to guiadeunhacker@argeniss.com.

8. Cookies and local storage

This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. We only use the browser's local storage (localStorage) to remember your language preference. This data never leaves your device.

To understand how the site is used we rely on Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly measurement tool that does not use cookies, does not track people across sites and does not collect personal data. It only records aggregate, anonymous statistics (page views, country, device type) and general events such as downloads or use of the resources. Data is processed in the European Union. That is why this site does not need to show you a cookie banner.
