1,000,000 people
who can defend themselves.
Online scams don't pick their victims: they sweep. And the most effective defense in existence isn't a piece of software — it's a person who knows.
That's why a professional hacker with over 25 years of experience released everything: his book, free, no sign-up, forever. Plus interactive tools, scam simulators, an online academy and complete kits so any school, company or bank can run workshops at no cost.
The goal is a concrete number: one million people learning the basics to protect themselves and the people around them. This counter isn't marketing — it's the real state of the mission, and below we explain exactly how we count it.
Book downloads + printed copies (sold and gifted) + attendees of talks and workshops + users of the tools.
Completed academy assessments + workshops delivered. Measured since the mission's launch.
Four ways to move the number
01Learn it yourself
Download the book (free, PDF and Epub), take the "How hackable are you?" test (2 minutes) or train in the simulator and the academy. Every person who learns is +1 on the counter.
GET STARTED ▸02Bring your people
Share the book with your family and your group chats — the license allows and encourages it. The right person to teach your mom is you, and the material is already done.
SHARE ▸03Bring your organization
School, company, bank, NGO? The complete kit includes presentations (for adults and for students aged 8-12 and 12-15), facilitator guides and activity sheets. Run the workshop, report your attendees, and your organization receives its contribution certificate with the number of people it added.
DOWNLOAD THE KIT ▸04Report your workshop
Ran a workshop with the kit? Tell us the organization, date and number of attendees, and we'll add your people to the counter with the corresponding credit.
REPORT ▸How we count (and how we don't)
A book that teaches you to distrust inflated promises can't inflate its own. These are the counter's rules:
- "Reached" adds up: direct book downloads (PDF + Epub), printed copies of every edition — sold and gifted —, attendees of in-person and online talks given by the author, unique users who complete the test or the simulator, academy users, and workshop attendees reported by organizations with date and headcount.
- "Trained" is the higher bar and is reported separately: people who completed at least one academy assessment or attended a full workshop. We'd rather show two honest numbers than one big one.
- We don't count: video or social media views, ad impressions, or visits that don't download or complete anything. Watching a Reel go by isn't learning.
- Imperfect deduplication, conservative criterion: when one person may have entered through two channels (downloaded the book and also attended a workshop), the workshop count is reported separately and reviewed before adding. When in doubt, the counter stays low.
- The starting point is real: the mission begins with the 3,600 downloads accumulated since the book's publication. Printed copies of earlier editions and attendees of past talks are added as they're documented — using records from registrations and organizers, always rounding down. No counter starting at zero, no invented round numbers.
The goal doesn't expire: every person who learns stays protected for good. The counter only moves forward — and you set the speed, by sharing.
Thanks to those who amplify
The mission moves forward thanks to the people and organizations that spread the book, the resources and the 1 Million Mission —by sharing, recommending, giving talks or bringing it to their community. Thank you for amplifying.
